Princeton 95

Website address: http://www.princeton95.org      Launch date: July 29, 2004

Princeton 95 unites all year 1995 graduates from Princeton University, NJ. After graduation alumni keep in touch with each other and organize charity, cultural and sports events. Every graduating class from Princeton tries to help those in need as much as possible.

The Princeton 1995 graduation is the youngest graduating class who established its own Fund aimed to support good undertakings under the name Summer Service Fund. This Fund issues grants for volunteer projects held in summer. For example, in 2003 the winning projects were establishing a school library in Nigeria, educating children in Nicaragua and Bangladesh.

Also, Class dues and annual giving allowed to organize weekly alumni meetings (Princeton Alumni Weekly), provide financial aid to students and improve University’s infrastructure.

The website helps:

Alumni to keep in touch

Thanks to the website, Princeton 1995 graduates can keep in touch with each other. They can be informed of any forthcoming alumni meetings and RSVP to take part in such gatherings. The photos categorized by topics can help remember the time spent at such gatherings. The website also contains a list of people who are Missing in Action, and contacts with whom are currently interrupted. If anyone knows something about such people, they can leave a message or provide their contact details.

Exchange interesting and useful information

The Message Board allows exchanging useful information and stay up-to-speed on events. The message board is accessible only to authorized users. One can find out more about the Summer Service Fund and those who won a grant, read their stories about the work done and possibly submit an application for one’s own charity project. Alumni can also subscribe to a mailing list.
