Skyhook Wireless Company and its Wi-Fi Positioning System Technology (WPS)

Skyhook Wireless has developed revolutionary Wi-Fi Positioning System Technology (WPS) that automatically detects person’s longitude and latitude with Wi-Fi-Device. The accuracy rate is 20 meters.

Companies like Bain Capital Ventures, Intel Capital, and Nokia Innovent have already been investing in WPS

Loki Tool Bar uses WPS for pinpointing person’s location and supplies more relevant data on request.

 

Designing Brand Identity of Loki Tool Bar

The starting point is December 22, 2005 — the day when corporate brand of Loki Tool Bar was born. Loki’s trademark is a hybrid, i.e. apple-shaped target. Apple symbolizes “delicious” and useful information, whereas target defines the place. This is how our selection gave birth to a fine-looking, modern, and recognizable logo.

Designing Loki Tool Bar Web Site

Thirty-five days after, on January 27, 2006 we launched Loki Tool Bar Web Site developed on the basis of the corporate brand. The web site guides you through Loki advantages, coverage zone, and expected updates and tells you why the panel’s name is exactly Loki. Certainly, Loki Instrument Panel is available for downloading.

Flyer Designing

Sixty more days after, on March 29, 2006, while preparing for Austine and Las Vegas Conference, we drew a Flyer for Skyhook Wireless (Loki Developer) and Socialight Companies. Interestingly this Flyer was also an invitation to a secret party after the Conference.

Creating Chat External Interface

Three days later, on April 3, 2006 we powered off Crafty Syntax Live Help Chat, an on-line communication tool for web site visitors and Loki support service. To tailor it to the overall style of loki.com we changed the external interface along the lines of Loki corporate brand.

Designing Flash Banners

Fifty-seven more days passed, and on May 31, 2006 were completed the design of Loki flash banners to be advertised on other sites. The main characters were as follows: businesswoman, frequently traveling businessman, and contemporary young man, with laptop-mobile-phone-iPod-player style of life.

Updating Loki Tool Bar Web Site

AND when 208 days passed after the start date of loki.com, on August 24, 2006 года, we updated the web site. The upgraded Loki Panel Web Site has the modified main page, two new sections plus blog and chat.
